Make Raising a Family Affordable Again
Alabama families work hard, and Washington always finds a way to make it harder. Far too many families are left behind, trying to keep up with the rising costs of groceries, housing, child care, gas, insurance, and utility bills. David, a father of five, will push for tax relief, lower everyday expenses, better wages, and policies that help parents raise their kids without extra hurdles from Washington.
Stand Up for Alabama Agriculture
Farmers do not need more advice from Washington. They need better access to markets, credit, reliable disaster assistance, fair rules, and federal programs that really work. David will fight for Lower Alabama’s farmers and producers, from cattlemen, poultry growers, and timber families to row-crop farmers growing peanuts, cotton, corn, and beans in the rural communities built by agriculture.
Fix the Supply Chain from Farm to Family
When the supply chain is weak, everyone pays more. Farmers pay more for fuel, fertilizer, seed, equipment, and feed, while families pay more at the grocery store. David will fight for stronger ports, roads, rail, trucking, warehousing, cold storage, rural logistics, and more domestic manufacturing so Alabama producers can cut costs, move goods faster, and reduce our dependence on foreign imports.
Put Main Street Ahead of Washington
Small businesses create jobs, support Little League teams, keep downtowns active, and give young families reasons to stay. David will work for lower taxes, less paperwork, easier access to funding, and federal rules that support mainstreet, not the highest bidding special interest group.
Defend Military Families and Mission Readiness
The Wiregrass and Alabama’s military communities play a key role in our country. David will support military families, good housing, strong schools, reliable health care, and the infrastructure needed to keep America’s aviation and defense strong.
Permanently Secure the Border
A country that cannot secure its border cannot keep its people safe. David will back strong border enforcement, more support for Homeland Security, action against human trafficking, and a serious crackdown on fentanyl and criminal networks.
Support Law Enforcement and Uphold the Rule of Law
Families should feel safe at home, in schools, churches, and downtown. David will support law enforcement, help rural first responders, and work on policies that hold criminals accountable while giving communities tools to prevent crime.
Strengthen Schools, Parents, and Workforce Pathways
Every child deserves a good education, and every parent should have a voice. David will support strong academics, safe schools, parental rights, local control, career training, trades, agriculture education, and job paths that prepare students for real work.
Protect Religious Liberty and Constitutional Freedoms
Faith, family, and freedom are more than just words. They are the foundation of strong communities. David will protect religious liberty, free speech, the Second Amendment, parental rights, and the constitutional freedoms that Washington too often treats as negotiable.
Make Government Work for the People Paying for It
Taxpayers should not have to hire consultants just to get basic services from government agencies. David will work for a modern, accountable government that uses plain language, cuts waste, protects program integrity, speeds up delivery, and measures success by results.
Build an Alabama Economy That Lets People Stay
Young people should not have to leave home to find opportunities. David will support rural jobs, manufacturing, agriculture processing, affordable energy, broadband, workforce training, and local investment so families can build their lives where they grew up.
